Job Description

A leading national house builder who produce traditional and timber frame housing as well as larger scale city centre high rise developments is seeking to appoint a Senior Site Manager to lead a flagship scheme on the outskirts of Sittingbourne, Kent.

This particular project has a total of 460 units to build out and is a mixture of Traditional Build Houses and Flats. The Construction Director has mentioned that the company, unlike a lot of house builders, focuses on quality over quantity and wants the customer experience to be the best in the industry. Therefore they do not push units through until they are completely satisfied with the quality and specification.

The suitable manager will come from a volume house builder and will have experience of delivering high quality homes.

You will have excellent knowledge of UK building regulations, will be able to manage and motivate a small team, chair and manage sub-contractor meetings, conduct tool box talks, and be conscious of health and safety.

Suitable applicants should possess CSCS (Managers) Card, SMSTS, First Aid and Scaffold Inspection, although for the right person, these can be refreshed through the business.

On offer is a basic salary of between 60,000 - 63,000 per annum, company car/allowance, pension, healthcare, as well as generous bonus scheme and holiday entitlement.
